Dining at the Canal Ritz

Dining at the Canal Ritz

My brother and I had had a nice visit with my father in the nursing home. After a bit of discussion our next destination became the Rideau Canal. Being the visitor, he got the co-pilot seat while I got to sit in the back and enjoy a bit of photographing as we drove along the Queensway. Harvesting on the NCC land was underway.

Despite the dry weather of the past month, the flower beds along the Rideau Canal were displaying well.  Since the water level of the Rideau Canal is controlled, it is always enjoyable to spend time by the canal, so we decided to stop for a bite to eat at the Canal Ritz before heading back home. A nice day all around.
