The Encampment at the Re-enactment of French and Indian War at Ogdensburg, NY July 22th, 2012

For some of the re-enactors, there were ancestral connections while, for many, who knew each other from past reenactment encampments, there were many memories of past events and experiences and many a story to be shared and valued. Each year, I learn more and more while some things are likely best left unexplained :-).

After all of this time looking around the encampment, the land battle was about to begin and I was ready for anything! Re-enactors had their weapons of choice. My shutter finger was ready too!

Thanks Bruce. I’ve managed to get the Water battle done and the encampment ones uploaded. Still sorting through the land battle shots (pun intended :-)) but uploading those might be delayed a bit.
