Venice fish market & fruit market

Today our guided tour lead us to venice’s fish and fruit market which is located a very short distance north of the Rialto Bridge. The fish were certainly fresh but not still alive, unlike the invertebrates many of which were still alive on display.

    Last week, my husband was yelled at in the true Italian way by a Venice farmer’s market merchant for touching a gorgeous peach! It was confusing and very funny.
