Ecological Tour of Cayo Coco

Wild Boar Cave was the next stop on the ecological tour. This cave was created by ocean water when Cayo Coco was submerged in the past. The cubans found it and with all the nearby tourist resorts turned it into a dance club.

Did I mention the Dance Club?

Well, after checking out the main dance floor we started into the Darkness, what will we find?

Apparently during the day this cave caters to bats, and during the night when they are out hunting the party begins! By the time everyone has gone home the bats return to rest during the day.

After our encounter with the batty kind we exited the cave and off to our next stop on the tour, this is starting to turn out to be the best 10 CUC I’ve spent on the island!
