Kingdom of Osgoode 2011

Celtic Sea was again a big part of the festivities, playing not only on the stage but also during the wedding ceremony.

The Alimah dancers also took to the stage and could be found around the grounds dancing along to the various music being played.

There was also a performance by the Philippine Madrigal Singers.

Next up more violence as we take to the Jousting Arena!

No surprise here, the Knights of Valour have returned to fair Osgoode to mount another Jousting Competition. This year was pretty riveting with horse malfunctions and even a knight getting knocked to the ground… twice!

Still not sure if being a squire for the Knights of Valour is a privilege or punishment.

Wee bit of a victory ride after winning the games before the joust.

A knight mounting his stead.

On to the Joust!

Knight Riding Hard in the Joust!
He Takes a big hit and is knocked to the ground!

Don’t worry he does get up to ride again, and gets knocked off a second time. My video on the first page captured the hit and fall, best to watch that, its quite riveting.

Also that wedding we talked about? It has its own post.

UPDATE: Another year has passed by and now we have posted our shots from Kingdom of Osgoode 2012.
