Gainesville, Florida

Arrived in Gainsville, Florida about 7AM after continuous driving from Toronto, set up the tent and then cycled for 64 km on the Hawthorne trail.

Weather was not looking too good so after checking the weather forecast we decided to pack up the tents and head for a motel. Once again. we drove into the night heading south and ended up in the area of Tarpon Springs for our next cycling outing. Turned out the weather forecasters were right this time and it rained all night and into the next morning so we were happy to have stayed dry. Packing up cold, wet tents is never a pleasant task.
