Diego’s wife was Spanish King Ferdinand’s niece (Maria de Toldeo). The guide mentioned that Diego had a separate bedroom and they had 5 children. It is important that tourists know such things :-).

All school in Santo Domingo have school uniforms. All public schools have the same blue uniform. Private schools also have uniforms but the colours are different.
