Smith Falls Railway Museum, Smith Falls, Ontario

One of the more interesting exhibits at the Smith Falls is the dental car which traveled the rails through Northern Ontario and provided dental services to communities that could not receive dental services by any other means. The nice white bowl is a sure give away – yup! dental chair.

Plenty of other interesting stories about the trains and their impact on the growth of Ontario off of the main lines and plenty of information about some of the trains and their guest.  Definitely an interesting museum to visit but sorry, rooms are for display, not for rent :-).

For further information, visit the official website: Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario.
