Little Claybelt Homesteaders Museum

20110608-101512.jpgAfter leaving Temagami, we continued along our way until a two storey tall Holstein cow appeared ahead of us. I stop whenever I see a two storey tall cow of any breed and today was no exception. The cow statue announced the location of the Little Claybelt Homesteaders Museum.

Although, I didn’t have time to explore inside the museum’s main building on this occasion, I was impressed with how they had arranged the old farm equipment with room to walk around the individual outside exhibits. Each of the exhibits had individual signs identifying what each of the pieces was, another nice touch.

On the side of the parking lot, there was a telephone booth creeping up on museum property. Not yet eligible to be considered a museum piece but getting closer each day!
