The Basilica (Inside) – Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Quebec

We were in this area of the province of Quebec to do some skiing at the local downhill ski location and at the local X/C ski facilities (December, 2006). When I saw that the Basilica was open to the public, I decided that my camera and I would need to go inside. This Roman Catholic sanctuary is at Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré about 30km east of Quebec City in the Province of Quebec. This series of photographs attempts to show the grandeur of the upper level and the more subdued atmosphere of the Immaculate Conception Chapel in the lower level.
