Wawa, Ontario Visitor Points of Interest – Lion’s Beach

Lion’s Beach is one of two public beaches on the shores of Wawa Lake. One of the main features of this location, in addition to the nice view of the lake, is the presence of the Joy Super Heavyweight Champion Rotary Blast Hole Drill which the Algoma Ore Division utilized at the Sir James Open Pit Mine and at the Lucy Open Pit operation.
