After getting the tents up and ready, we headed back to the Ivanhoe River Inn to have a little supper. In June, it is light outside well past 8PM and it is easy to lose track of time.
We rise early when doing the bird surveys and out 4AM wake-up would come far too early, if we didn’t get into our tents pretty soon. With enough light still lingering for photography, I find it tough to get into the tent but eventually nightfall comes to my North Face Mountain 25 tent and I am fast asleep inside while it is not yet dark outside.
