A Times Square Walkabout – New York, NY

We didn’t stop for a look inside the Royalton and I was really too old to try enrolling at the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis High School for International Careers but it was interesting to see them from the outside nonetheless.

There are still plenty of signs and monuments around to serve as reminders of the terrible 9/11 tragedy and its death toll and the heroism of those who came to the rescue of the survivors.

Our afternoon destination was the United Nations buildings, so I had to keep focused on the walking and spend a bit less time on squeezing the shutter although I did stop on occasion to photograph Adell with and without her umbrella and did find some time to photograph the outside of an Amish market.

Next stop – The United Nations
