Fall at Luskville Falls, Gatineau Hills, Quebec

Here is a picture of Graeme heading up the hill.


Graeme used the opportunity of fine weather and nice lighting to experiment with selective lighting, shallow depth of field (dof) and produce the following:

These close-ups were taken with the flash on and high F-stop (f40-56) in order to utilize the drop of light on the object rather than its sharpness to be the defining feature.


In addition to photographing the leaves and wildlife, Graeme also produced a video of the hardtop roof opening on my wife’s 2011 Volvo C70 hardtop convertible. Fun to watch.
