One last bit of instruction from the stage and the music getting everyone revved up, it was off to the start line where the pipers were assembled already to lead out the walkers on their 5, 7 or 10 km chosen route. Not a race, just a worthwhile cause.
With the flourish of the pipes leading them onward, the walkers were on their way.
