Trillium Woods Trail, Kanata, Ontario

The phrase “Don’t Fence Me In” came to mind when I saw the No Trespassing sign close to where these trees had begun to swallow the fence.

It was the Trillium Woods Trail and there were a couple of Trilliums flowering along the trail but still a bit of time until they put on any meaningful display.

After a wlk on this trail, I was off again to photograph a few Magnolias at the the Experimental Farm Arboretum.

I’ll add this to my list of interesting west-end places to hit once we move out to Stittsville. I’ve spent a lot of time checking out the wildflowers of the Pontiac but not so much around here. Thanks for the photos.
