The face cut-outs were held erect by a simple bracing system and survived the day without problems.
After returning to dismantle the placards and pack things up, we decided that the weather had improved enough to be able to head out for an end-of-day cycle over to Bell’s Corners for a light snack and a drink (of water :-)).
The day ended with a beautiful sunset as we cycled home under much drier skies than we had experienced 12 hours earlier.
