To reach the Falls from this point is pretty easy since the valley floor is pretty flat and the river bank is not rocky. It’s not long before the Falls is visible through the trees. When the foliage is out in summer months, you would hear the Falls long before seeing it, but in the early Spring, with no foliage on the trees, the Falls is easy to see from a distance.
Unlike much larger falls, the base of Pixley Falls is very accessible and it is easy to get into a position to see in behind the falls.
No competition to Niagara Falls but a pleasant falls to visit nonetheless.
