In the sugar shack, the collected sap from the Sugar Maples is heated to drive off the moisture and then graded before bottling or packaging for sale.
For those who were interested, there were also sleigh rides and a number of trails and play areas but, for us, it was a stop at the Taffy shack and the tough decision-making process.
