African Safari – Masai Mara back to Nairobi
It was a market day along our route and vendors were out in force as we retraced our path back to Nairobi, Kenya.
As we passed by colourful buildings, I often wondered what it would be like past those doors.
All along our route, enterprising entrepreneurs would have a small fire going or an hibachi and a few cobs roasted maize to offer to passing motorists.
When we reached the escarpment of the Rift Valley, traffic slowed as we made the steep climb past hillside vendors and almost came to a complete stop when a motorcyclist and a van touched bumpers on the curve ahead.
Looking back down at the Rift Valley, Nairobi still beckoned.
