For Graeme and I, the event provides us with a reason to travel across the border, enjoy a bit of fresh air (filled with loud noises and black smoke), and enjoy a nice meal at the local restaurant. Where else could we enjoy a feast while surrounded by interesting individuals sporting pretty fine clothing and haberdashery from another era.
I’m looking forward to July 2011 and a return to Ogdensburg for another shot or two at one of the men in white :-). In the heat of battle, I felt a tingling sensation on my neck. Somehow, I knew that I was in the line of fire. I whirled around, took my best shot. Too late! Dressed in the white of the French, he had me in his sights. He shot me first! The pain was excruciating. It hit me like a blast of 12,000 little pixels LOL.
