St. Patrick’s Day Parade – New Orleans 2009

In addition to the bands, there were a few floats. Not a huge number of them and not extravagant like in some other parades but, over all, a nice comfortable feeling, especially with such close interaction with the participants and no crowd control barriers in the way. Reminded me of the many St. Patrick’s Day parades that I had watched with my parents when I was much younger and lived in Toronto.

Beads, beads and more beads.
