Looking out over the Barcelo Premium Marina Palace Resort – Varadero, Cuba

It felt like a great day for a bit of a climb so I took my Nikon D300 and my 10.5mm fisheye lens up to the top of the look-out tower and enjoyed the view and the photo opportunities. The above image shows the Music Room (Disco) mid left, the marina construction top  center, and the main reception area top right.

The above image shows the multi-unit three storey tall buildings of the main resort in the foreground and the two-story four-plex buildings of the adults-only Cayo Libertad/Royal Island resort at the tip of the peninsula. The initial stages of construction of the new marina docking space can be seen under development in the sheltered bay.

One of the beach sections can be seen below as well as a shot along the shore line past the main building.

Back to the original view looking in the direction of Varadero which is about 24km away at the base of the peninsula.
